Passed the Pass

God blessed us with a georgeous day to ride up one of the most beautiful highway passes in the country on May 17th: The Beartooth Pass outside of Red Lodge, Montana. The ride was 24.3 miles with an elevation gain from 5,200 to 8,000 feet in 12 miles in the most daring landscapes.
We started in Red Lodge with 72degree temps and reached at the top with 50-degree temps surrounded by 12ft snow drifts!

At the overlook:

At the Montana-Wyoming Border:

On July 19th - Brandon also raced a 1st place finish in the Montana Big Sky State games in cycling!! Way to go hunney-bunn!

well...here in B/CS I went bike riding the other day at Lake Bryan and got knocked off my bike twice on one trail! I think my total elevation change was 10 feet? Anyhow...that's really cool that you are up there and there is still snow...I start sweating just standing outside trying to lock my door when I leave.
One day we will come up there and you can go biking with me on some trails; assuming you have a mountain bike.
